The Fashion Center BID

SIDEWALK CATWALK is a one-of-a-kind public art exhibit which showcases the world's most iconic fashion designers and offers the artistic interpretations of a fashion industry icon – the mannequin.

The mannequin parade project debuted in New York City in 2010 with the wildy popular exhibition, THE FASHION CENTER SIDEWALK PRESENTED BY LF USA. THE FASHION CENTER SIDEWALK CATWALK showcased custom-built Ralph Pucci mannequins, displayed runwaystyle down Broadway from Times Square to Herald Square (map), each modeling a bold, one-of-a-kind manifestation of a New York City fashion designer’s artistic vision. Created by The Fashion Center Business Improvement District, this high-profile installation showcased the vitality and creative spirit of the industry in a unique outdoor setting on the public plazas of Broadway in the heart of Manhattan.

The Fashion Center Business Improvement District thanks its partners, sponsors and friends for making SIDEWALK CATWALK a tremendous success. SIDEWALK CATWALK brought the immense local fashion talent usually confined to runways, showrooms and design studios to the masses.
