Growing up on the beaches of New Zealand, Taylor graduated from the Wellington School of Design. Shortly after, she arrived in New York and has been designing her signature collection since 1996. She also offers handbags, shoes, jewelry, eyewear, swimwear and a pink label collection created exclusively for her own stores. Rebecca Taylor is now distributed in more than 40 countries and 250 cities worldwide, including stores in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Taylor supports the ASPCA and uses only ethical furs. Her philanthropic efforts also benefit the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, the North Shore Animal League, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Phoenix House, CFDA Fashion for Action and the Children’s Dream Foundation. She co-chairs the NYC Shop for Opera benefit.
